My decision to change
- Years of emotional pain around my body image and marital stress . Was always told back in the day "you don't need to loose weight." Then I stopped hearing it.
- Pandemic shut down, divorce, home schooling and stress of the world. I often starved myself with stress, but this and new happiness among the devastation, gave me room to again enjoy food. I ate my stress, anxiety and boredom. I started eating way too much sugar, carbs, wine etc. Whatever I wanted to cope with all the change in 2020.
- A year of quarantine with so much change lead me to eat and drink too much with no will power, I was out of control and gained way too much. I felt gross and ugly and needed to reign it in and get control of myself.
- New beginnings, new love and healing my heart from pain, included looking in the mirror and loving what I see. Meant being accountable for my actions by learning a new way of thinking around my intake habits. I just needed a plan that worked to get out of my rut. I wanted something easy, without force and without cardio. I wanted to not feel deprived of sustenance.
- I desired to love myself, feel sexy, maintain long term health and feel confident in my body again.
